Arcus believes that respect for diversity among peoples and in nature is essential to a positive future for our planet and all its inhabitants. We partner with experts and advocates for change to ensure that LGBTQ people and our fellow apes thrive in a world where social and environmental justice are a reality.

The Fund for Trans Generations (FTG) was created by a diverse group of funders to ensure that frontline trans activists and organizations have the financial resources and engagement needed to advance the safety, security and rights of trans people. The Fund’s grantmaking is informed by and responsive to trans communities and movements. The current funders are Arcus Foundation, Laughing Gull Foundation, NoVo Foundation, and Anonymous Donors.

The Trans Justice Funding Project is a community-led funding initiative founded in 2012 to support grassroots, trans justice groups run by and for trans people in the United States, including U.S. territories. We center the leadership of trans people organizing around their experiences with racism, economic injustice, transmisogyny, ableism, immigration, incarceration, and other intersecting oppressions. Every penny we raise goes to our grantees with no restrictions and no strings attached because we truly believe in trans leadership.

Peace First empowers young people ages 13-25 to create a just and peaceful world by providing digital tools, community support, start-up funding, and stories that celebrate their journeys and impact.

We invest in good ideas and strong programs to help close the achievement gap, inspire a love of learning, and provide children with skills to succeed in the global economy. We champion strategies that work and new approaches that can serve as models to follow and lead to systemic changes in education.

The Gill Foundation believes people should be treated equally regardless of who they are or who they love. That’s why we support efforts at the state and national level to better the lives of every American.

Resist is a foundation that supports people’s movements for justice and liberation. We redistribute resources back to frontline communities at the forefront of change while amplifying their stories of building a better world.

The Greater Sum Foundation supports innovation in the nonprofit sector by providing funding, subject matter expertise, networking, and professional development opportunities. We work with young nonprofits created to solve problems in new ways or established nonprofits entering new areas of work to do something innovative.

The mission of the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation is to engage Ben & Jerry’s employees in philanthropy and social change work; to give back to our Vermont communities; and to support grassroots activism and community organizing for social and environmental justice around the country.
